Lough Benachally Reservoir Drawdown Improvement Works will carry out access improvements to the valve tower and additional capital maintenance items at Loch Benachally Reservoir comprising; ground investigation and surveys to establish the condition of the existing spillway walls; construction of a new reinforced concrete approach and downstream channel; lump stone scour protection to the approach channel; isolating penstock; access platform and handrailing.
