Project Details:

Bovingdon to Heronsgate Reservoir Station

Affinity Water (AW) identified the need to refurbish two of their larger water pump stations at Bovington and Heronsgate Service Reservoirs to mitigate the effect of sustainability reductions. Affinity Water produced a concept design for the refurbishment works and the project was competitively tendered by Enisca. Enisca identified an alternative solution utilising offsite build methodology reducing the works programme, risk of impact to the supply network and capital costs. The Enisca alternative solution provided Affinity Water with more than a 10% saving on the ITT concept solution and provided Affinity Water will a high-quality new asset.

Enisca was engaged as Principal Contractor for the scoping, design, provision, installation, testing and commissioning of all mechanical, electrical, control, automation, monitoring, telemetry / SCADA equipment, and the associated ancillary civil engineering works. During an ECI stage we met with AW Asset Management and Operational teams to develop/confirm the scope, optioneer solutions and identify efficiencies.
